Cancelation Question

I'm just trying to make sure I have this right, and lay out the pertinent information:

- We have a December Use Year
- We are planning to go in December of 2020 (2020 Use Year)
- We are also working on a baby, which would possibly alter our December plans (but we need to book 11 months out at CCV, so the plan is to book the trip, and adapt if we are blessed with another little one)
- Banking 25 points from 2019 use year for the trip into 2020
- If we had to cancel (outside of 31 days) all the points for the trip would stay in 2020 use year correct? and then we'd have to use them by November 30, 2021?
- Or if we cancel the trip could we bank our 2020 points that we were using on the trip into 2021 still? I know we couldn't bring the 2019 points, but was curious how the 2020 points would work...if they would be stuck in 2020 or could still be moved to 2021 if we cancelled the reservation by a certain point.

In reading over everything, I think the points would stay in 2020 and we'd have to use them by November 30, 2021...but I just want another voice to confirm that or tell me i'm wrong.

Yes, cancel before 30 days. all points would be 2020 UY
Your 25 2019 points would be now 2020 points, but can not be banked again, and will expire Nov 30 2021.
Your 2020 points would be available to bank into 2021 as you did NOT need to borrow them to make the Dec 2020 reservation.
The only points that would stay 2020 is the 25 2019 points you banked to make the dec 2020 reservation. They would need to be used by Nov 30, 2021.

One must cancel 31 days or more out, If you cancel 30 days, you get holding. Just wanted to clarify that n
