I made a reservation with the 701111 code with Alamo, and a back-up reservation with Dollar, for 50 dollars more. If the Alamo one works will I be penalized for not using the dollar rental. Do I have to cancel that reservation once we have the Alamo rental. Can you use the Online check-in with Alamo using that code?

You need to read the reservation details. In most cases if the reservation is not prepaid, then there is no fee for a no show or late cancallation.

Some people have indicated that the kiosk has directed them to the counter for checkin when using that code. Online might do the same thing. If you also have coupon associated with the reservation, then you won't be able to do online checkin and must use the kiosk or counter.
