Cancel/Transfer/Trade ADR's 4 June *UPDATED*

I'm looking for a dinner or late lunch reservation at LeCellier on 8/30 for 5 people..

I have a LeCellier lunch reservation on 8/28 at 2:40 for 5 people that I am willing to trade or a LTT dinner reservation on 8/30 at 9:05pm also for 5.

I accidently, org. posted this on a different thread. But still am wishing for a the impossible.
You know its bad when you call WDW dine and auto. punch in 1,1, 1... to get to the CM!

Ok, this is a new thread I have never seen... mostly cause I don't make a lot of ADRs, I have always walked up to the place we want....

However, my DH, who I love... has desided he really, really wants to eat at Le Celliar... hahahahah! Silly man!
I have called tons of times the last month and of course, nothing.
We don't have anything to trade, and yes, everyone wants to eat there!
But if any kind Disser has an ADR for dinner for 3 Sept 1 to Sept 7, and they don't want it, I would be very happy to know.

I do think that I have a better chance of winning the night at the Castle then getting into here!

And has ANYone ever walked up and gotten in? As I said, we usually don't do ADRs-even when there is up to 10 or 11 of us, we have gotten into Boma's , CP, Garden Grill, Hofbraun, Moracco, Concourse, Park Fair-lunch and dinner, Trails End and several other places more then once! We usually eat either a late b'fast or late lunch, like just befor they chance to the other meal. Or we show up and let the CMs know we are willing to wait. Like about 5:30 for Boma's, or 3:30 at Garden Grill... Or about 2:45 at Coral Reef. And we have done this during free dining.

Anyway, if you have found you can't use a res there please let me know, I will check a few times a day for the next week/10 days, and I am calling WDWdinning several times a day.

Well, since this ressie required a CC, you don't want to just give someone the confirmation #, and you also can't transfer it into someone else's name (unless maybe if you do a three way call). The best way is to wait until someone PM's you that they want it, then you can set up a 3 way if possible, or just let them know EXACTLY what day and time you will cancel, and they can call then and try to pick it up. There is no guarantee that someone else won't book it before them, of course, but it's certainly worth a try and has worked many times.
If you have waited as long as you feel comfortable holding it and no one has PM'd you, you might want to give one final "heads up" post before you cancel, saying what time you'll do it. Or, just post immediately after. You never know when someone "in need" may come along and read your post at just the right time. That, too, has happened. Good luck!

Just wanted to let everyone know it does pay off to keep calling Disney about reservations. I have called the last couple of weeks trying to get Donald's Breakfast and there was always nothing, then I called yesterday and got a party of 6 for the perfect time! So keep trying!!
