What happens to Fast Passes and Magic Bands?

If a last minute decision is made to stay off site, will all FPs be lost? What about MBs that were mailed -- should they be trashed? Tickets would stay in MDE -- just the resort would be cancelled. Not sure if the MBs would still work for park entry.

Do you have a room-only reservation with tickets attached or a package?

When we did this last year with a room-only, we kept our FPs because we kept the tickets attached. If it is a package, then you will probably lose the FPs when the package is cancelled because the tickets will go away. The MBs should stay attached to your account and can be used with your current tickets or tickets in the future. That is just what happened to us, I don't know how it works for sure now.

No package. I have APs, 3 people have tickets purchased through UT that are in MDE.

In that case your FP+ and MBs should work fine. They're connected through MDE and it doesn't matter whether you're staying onsite or off.

If the tickets aren't removed from MDE, the FPs should be ok - but just in case, I would make that move as soon as possible. If you do lose your FPs, at least you'll still have a decent shot at most rides....
