Do people cancel their reservations if they know they are not going to go to that restaurant. OR they keep the reservation and don't bother to cancel it.

If you know before you even go that you are not going, cancel them. It will give others the chance to book ahead of time. There are times when I stop by the restaurant and cancel same day if our plans have changed. Sometimes, we just totally miss the ressies, but not often. Right now, I am trying to get some for the first week of December and they are all booked up, so I will call every day to try to get into the dinner places we wanted to go.

I sure hope they cancel them. That would be terrible for all the people trying to eat at that restaurant and can't because it's already booked. Please cancel any ADRs if you're not going to use them.

I had a couple of ressies for sept that I am not going to use I held on to them and post a thread here for anyone wanting them. Two of them I trasferred and one I am cancelling tomorrow. All of the ressies that I have made for our october trip have been cancelled when we have changed to other places.

We cancel our ADR's once we know we aren't going to be using them which is way in advance. I recently canceled two ADR's for our trip in December. I like to have my ADR's and itinerary finalized well in advance so that we maximize our time at WDW. We always have a great time and wing it if we have to.

Some people don't cancel and that's real unfortunate for those trying to secure a time for their party/family. The right thing to do is cancel your ressie, even if you decide at the last minute to do so. To me, this is just common courtesy.

I always cancel them as soon as I know we won't be needing them. And when I call to make a new one and tell the CM to cancel my old one they are always so pleased that I am doing it :goodvibes

We too cancel them as soon as we know we aren't going. That way I can make another ADR for someplace else. :goodvibes Last Sept. I kept about 1/2 of our ADRs and made new ones (about 6, I think) while there.
