Cancel October trip without Oogie tickets?

We're planning on going to the parks mid October and don't have tickets to the party. I've gone before when it was cheaper and back in Disneyland itself. Now it's just way too expensive for what you get in my personal opinion.

I think someone on this thread wanted to know, but I went to the PPH lobby at 5am and they did NOT have OBB tickets.
