Cancel it or Chance it?

I have been helping a friend get dining reservation for the upcoming week when something unexpected happened. Space 220 showed up! I was able to reserve her Space 220 for 1:55. The problem is that she has a Magic Kingdom park reservation and not an Epcot reservation. All park reservations are full next week. With park hopping not happening until 2, she will need to be late by a few minutes or hop a few minutes early. Is this possible or should she not even try it?

I would chance it. Show the CMs on the gate that she has an ADR and hope that they are feeling kind. Or be ready to enter at 14.00 and run.
You may be lucky and be able to modify the reservation.

I think I read that for 2pm hopping, if you scan your magic band 13-15 minutes earlier than 2 it will still let you in…but if you ask a CM they will say you can’t scan in till 2pm. So I’d get there at like 1:47 and try to scan in early

There is usually a grace period of around 15 minutes for dining reservations so I would chance it.
