Cancel EMM?

Does anyone know if EMM reservations can be cancelled?
It says "non-refundable" but I've read people have cancelled beforehand...

Where does it say non-refundable? I made reservations recently, then cancelled, then got my money back.

I was told by the CM when making the reservation that I could cancel 24 hours prior. I was surprised to hear that.
