My mom and I will be taking my kids and niece and nephew (3, 6, 6, 9) to WDW in June. I have all my ADRs in place. I made full use of the Deluxe dining plan, with plenty of character meals and such. We also have Coral Reef Lunch ressies on a day when we're eating an Akershus Princess B-fast. Then, we have a looong break until the Hoop Dee Doo at 7:15.

Based on many many bad reviews I've read here and elsewhere, I'm thinking of canceling the Coral Reef. I'm thinking we could take the kids to the boardwalk area and catch a CS meal there. Would you recommend nixing the ressie and doing this? If so, where would you eat?

TIA!

I didn't look at the kids menu when I was there in 2007, but you can check it out on wdwinfo.com and see what it looks like. We all really enjoyed our meal there, but we were 4 adults with no kids.

We've always enjoyed Coral Reef. We've had great food and great service everytime. The enviornment is fun and relaxing. The kids will have a great time looking at all the fish in the aquarium. Request a table by the windows if possible.

Have Fun!

Thanks! "Something" is making me hold on to that reservation. I've been toying with the idea of canceling for a while now. All but one of the kids is a fish eater, so no problems there. However, they'll probably only be able to get the standard DDP kids' fare. I thought they would enjoy the tanks. Maybe we'll just stick to the plan. :thumbsup2
