Cancel ADR Charge $$

On the Disney Dining Plan 2007 brochure, it says that for certain locations, you have to give a credit card and if you don't show up or cancel within 48 hours, they will charge you a cancellation fee.

Anyone know what locations these are? Thanks.

For the Fantasimic dinner package at any of the restruants there is a $10 if you do not show up and do not cancel before 48 hours. $20 at California Grill. I amnot sure what the position is with CRT, but I am sure they charge you there if you don't show up as you usually pay in advance for that meal.

Yep. I tried to cancel it last year, thinking it was 24 hours instead of 48 hours, and was told that it would be a $10 per person charge. At that price (there were 3 of us) we just went to the meal instead of cancelling.

So if they never ask you for a credit card when you make your ADR, I assume they won't charge you, correct? I was thinking they could charge the fee to your room or something.

I do plan on keeping all my ADR and calling to canceling them if I don't but I'm just curious. Thanks.

Right. All of the places listed above ask for your credit card number when you make the ressie. They do not charge it at that time, they just hold the number in case you are a no show. Regular ADR's do not require a credit card.

The only places that actually charged my Credit card at time of phone call were CRT and the Candlelight Processional. They required total upfront payment.
