This is great news for my May trip to DL!
What kind of points?
@-Amanda is probably referring to the Canadian Air Miles program, where Canadians can earn points at various merchants and exchange the points for airfare, hotel stays, and merchandise. Air Miles can be used to purchase tickets at both Disneyland and Disney World, a fact which causes Canadian Disney fans to perform bizarre acts.
For example, two years ago, there was an incredibly good Air Mile deal on Clamato juice at Safeway, so I bought 150 1.89 litre bottles of the stuff. Thankfully, I'm down to my last ten bottles. Our love of Disney makes us do strange things...
Okay. I have air miles (I'm Canadian), but I find I barely accumulate any. I'd have to live a couple hundred years to gather enough for Disney tickets lol.
OMG I love clamato juice.
I’m in BC. They’re Save On More / More Rewards. What kind of points?

I had no idea you could use Save on points to buy Disney tickets! That's exciting lol.
I'm also very excited for the Canadian offer - we're just going to squeak into it as 3 days is the maximum we can go for (we're tacking it onto a vacation to Palm Springs)...though now I'm wondering if it would be worth it to stay in a hotel in Anaheim Sunday night (as opposed to for free at my parent's place) so we can be there to go straight to the park on Monday morning instead of leaving Palm Springs super early on Monday. Hmmm.
I'd do the hotel. That's a heck of a commute.
I'm in BC and I cannot find Disney tickets with Save On More. A few years back we got City Pass, but where did you find Disney??I’m in BC. They’re Save On More / More Rewards.

thanks! the inlaws have loads of points...hmmmmYou have to call the travel booking 1-800 #. The tickets aren’t on the website. I paid $429 CAD/100,052 points for a 5 day park hopper pass.
but our dollar is not equal. 5 day hopper at 316.00 on sale actually costs us 420.00. They do check ID, but only for one adult every-time we have used the dealI don't understand Disney at all. I mean, I do, I guess I'm just frustrated. I'm about to spend $2,800 on park tickets. This would have saved me $560. I need to get a fake Canadian ID.
From what I remember on another thread you are going during spring Dapper Days, correct? If so, you can get special priced tickets through Dapper Days closer to the event date (I believe they say 3 months in advance on their website). For instance, the Fall 2019 tickets are available now through Dapper Days -- a 5 day park hopper is $340.I don't understand Disney at all. I mean, I do, I guess I'm just frustrated. Cool story for you. About 13 years ago I met my now ex-husband. He didn't have a Save On More card. I got him one and joined it to my account. Within about a month he won the 1 million points lol. We used them for travel. Back then you could get round trip flights from Victoria to LAX for I think it was 79,000 points. We used them a few times to fly the 3 of us and go to Disneyland (him, me and my daughter).
Our low dollar is hard to swallow, so a bit of a break on tickets is nice...add in the exchange to hotel, food etc and it really adds upI don't understand Disney at all. Amanda, one more question, do they accept a points/cash combo if I am a little short? You have to call the travel booking 1-800 #. The tickets aren’t on the website. I paid $429 CAD/100,052 points for a 5 day park hopper pass.
