Canadian PIN new offer?

Actually I'm curious about this for the new Canadian PIN...

Yes, it is regular Dining plan with mods and above, and Quick Service Dining with Values...April 26th through sometime in August...

Me, too. The same offer to the same email address. I can actually use one for September/October, though.

Woohooo! I called on a whim, and they let me use the pin that had my Mom's name on it!

It's Quick Service, b/c we're at a Value Resort but I DON'T CARE!!!:thumbsup2

You can pay the difference to upgrade the QS dining to the regular dining plan if you want to. We did it last year. It costs $10 per person per night extra and is worth it in my opinion. I'd do that again to get a full service meal per day.

Ooooh!!! How do you do that? At check-in? Or do I need to phone again? Dh was a little disappointed about down-grading to QS, even though it saved us a ton!

My husband received the PIN as well, and although I'm very happy about it, I am the one who books everything and requests planning DVDs and I never get them! Obviously, we will be going together so we will use the pin but I just have to laugh at the fact that he doesn't even go to the Disney website and yet he is the one to receive the deal.

Anyway, the pin we have is quick service dining for values and mods, and regular dining for AKL and WL only. The dates are up to August 13. Anyone else have that one?

If we go, we will probably upgrade the dining, or maybe, we can stay at WL! I'm going to crunch some numbers...

It is actually good at any deluxe or deluxe villa. They just use WL and AKL as an example.

Congratz to those that got PINS! I didn't even know that they give them out so that's really cool! Maybe if we get one it would be enough to convince the DW to do a quick trip this spring/summer.

I was going to mention the same thing. You need to phone back and have the upgrade added to your reservation. I don't believe Disney will upgrade you once you check in. It has to be attached to your ressies and paid before your trip.

Yes, it is $11 per person difference this year. We're going during non-peak season in September.

Oh, BTW, I see you are from Meaford. I lived in Owen Sound till I was 27. I have been in Nova Scotia now for 13 years though.

We got the free dining PIN, but what happens if you don't book through Disney - i.e. we want to use Aeroplan points, booking through Air Canada. Will we still get free dining?

Just phone the number on the email, and ask to have it applied to your reservation. It takes about 5 minutes, start to finish!

They send them to you to tempt you TO stay on resort...more money for them. Makes perfect marketing sense to me!

Oh yes it is a great marketing tool. My Free DDP has now cost me 5600.00 (AKL/10NE/flights)....but it will be so worth it.
