Trying to decide if I should pay OOP for last 2 tickets before offer ends or wait an keep collecting and use higher air miles.
Our trip is in August.

How long after offer ends in February does it usually take for regular passes to appear?

The regular passes are on the Air Miles site now, for flexible date 3, 5 and 7 day tickets, valid until Dec 2020.

I know they are there.
Sorry to clarify I have redeemed for 2 tickets.
Need 2 more but won’t have enough air miles in time.
My question is how long after the offer are regular passes back in stock?
Wondering if I should pay cash during the offer or wait and redeem for regular tickets.

How close are you to being able to get another ticket? It's only two more weeks, they may still have stock of the discounted tickets afterwards but no guarantees on that. If you are close, do you have a rexall nearby? or another store that has a quick posting of miles? I don't think the shop the block miles will post in time for the discounted tickets (if you participated). I'd do the math and see how many more miles you need to get the two tickets at regular cost (since they are posted you can see how much they would be).

Assume you want them in hand two months before so you can book fastpasses (or one if you are staying offsite) and one or two weeks for delivery, could be faster but I wouldn't want to risk it. How many weeks do you have to get how many miles?

If it were me, and I was close to having one more ticket, I'd probably pay out of pocket for one and hope to use airmiles for the other. I would not want to have to pay full price or have a price increase before I can get them. I don't always earn a lot of airmiles in any week, I know some are good about getting 100 a week or whatever their target is, can you do that?

There are other options though, you could use undercover tourist which is better than Disney prices, but obviously not free like airmiles or as big a discount as the CND deal.

Sorry they are for DL. Really didn’t post my question well!
So no need to have them for FP window.

I have about 1500 towards 3rd one.

I would purchase them using cash before the end of the Canadian offer. While AM does have the tickets until they run out like @hdrolfe said there's no way of knowing how long those will last. Disney has historically raised prices early February so the AM required to purchase after the Canadian discount is done could be shocking.

Using AM to get the tickets is great but you will find another use for those AM you've collected. Car rental, hotel stay... You need to way off cash flow (purchasing) vs cash savings (using AM). Each family situation is different.

I would personally use cash and buy with the Canadian discount. I wouldn’t save up nearly enough airmiles in time anyway though with that amount still needed.

you can always keep collecting and then use them for your next trip!

I am with the last couple of posts. Buy now with cash. CDN ticket deal probably has you coming out better than redeeming AM's. Plus, what if you don't collect enough? Then your paying regular price.
