Canadian Luggage Tags

I like to use Canadian-flag tags on my luggage for travel, but I moved since my last trip and can't find them anywhere at a reasonable rate. (I found them at wal-mart yesterday for around $2.50 each!) I thought the dollar stores would have them with their July 1st stuff, but nope. Has anyone else seen some cheap ones in the GTA lately? --or how else do you personalize your luggage tags?

I saw some yesterday at Shoppers Drug Mart. Price might have been $1.99, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone else have a cheap solution to personalizing their luggage? I figure with 2 preschoolers, I'll have 2 suitcases, 2 carseats, 1 golf bag, and 2 mickey-luggage bags to add tags to, and that can add up

I've heard of people laminating the Mickey paint-chips at Home Depot with the info on the back. Has anyone done this? What would the cost of laminating a sheet be? And, what would you use to tie them to your luggage?

Our Dollarama stores have them, got some about 8 days ago. In the section with all the Canada Day stuff.

Were they the Canadian Flag ones at Wal-Mart? Because at the Wal-Mart in Markville Mall, they were $2.57 each!

Why don't you use the Mickey head paint chip from Home Depot and make them Canadian Flags (get white and red ones, and make flag on the heads). Then buy some mack tack (or tye tack) from the dollar store (the clear stickey plastic) and cover the heads.

Yes they were. I bought ours in Leamington, Ontario.

After a long search, I finally found the flag tags at "Buck or Two" for a dollar each -- I couldn't find them at any of the other dollar stores, including Dollarama -- and our Wal-mart is actually selling them for $2.97 each!
