Canadian knee scoped.

Hi. I am booked for Oct.8 to get my knee scoped and I am getting nervous.I have had both hips done(broke my sockets and moved them over)I know that was a longer recovery.
I have heard so many people say it didn't work.Dr wants a 6 week recovery.WOW.We have a ton of stairs in our semi,thats enough work.I also know its a in and out deal, but a cane, crutches???

I've had a scope in January of last year and was back to work after 2 weeks. But I work in an office and sitting down. I never needed crutches and the doctor advised against it. He wanted me to start walking on it right away. The hardest part wasn't the walking, it was the bending. At first I could barely bend my knee at all, it felt really weird and very stiff. It took a good 3 to 4 weeks before I got the flexibility that I had before the operation.
