Hi there,
I'm a writer with CanWest News and I'm working on a story about the new line of wedding gowns inspired by the Disney Princesses, as well as the popularity of Disney weddings in general. I'd like to speak to a bride who either chose to have a Disney wedding or would be interested in buying a Princess-inspired dress.
If you fit the bill and you're interested in doing a quick phone interview, please contact me at sproudfoot AT canwest DOT com. I need to speak to someone by Friday morning (but ideally end of day tomorrow) to make my deadline.
Thank you!

Dang...I guess being almost 41 with three kids, I just squeaked by the cutoff.:lmao: FYI I always wanted a Disney wedding...always wanted the princess dress.:yay: ....reality sunk in and never got either LOL.:sad2: Good luck on your article!

Good Luck with your article!

I showed DD the sketches and she has already decided on the Belle Dress but unfortunately, or fortunately for me, she's only 15 and doesn't plan on getting married in the near futre!;)

where have you seen these gowns?

My bestest friend is having her Cinderella Wedding in WDW Jan 2008. I'm new here so I'll try to see if I can send this along to her! :bride: If I can't, I'll at least post her phone # back to you privately if she's up for it.

We are (maybe I should say I am) having a blast planning the super cool wedding. Also doing a social event that's Disney themed as well. Didn't catch what province you are from. Manitobans have parties to help raise money for the new bride and groom before the wedding. party:

Those are neat - my 7yo just informed me I am to wear the sleeping beauty one when I marry him in front of the castle :rotfl2: :lmao: What a sweetie - but I don't think that counts!!

Make Sure You Post Pictures!;)

That is so sweet!

Wow, we looked in to getting married at Disney but it was too much money after just getting out of school. DH promised a vow renewal at 10 or 15 years... I really like the Jasmine dress. I wonder how much the dresses are going to cost.

My GF said she already spoke with you, Shannon. The dresses are nice enough, but wouldn't pay any more than what I could find elsewhere. And yes, A disney wedding is pricey! :scared1:
