Sorry, it should be Canadian Budget Board. It wouldn't let me edit the title.

I think we at least need to start a thread if we can't get our own board.

It is so frustrating to go to the Budget Board because everything is from the States. As much as I love it there, it doesn't help me budget.

I just got some Color Wonder things at Michael's that were originally $15 for $5. And a Froot Loops baking kit at Superstore that was originally $15 for just under $7.

I live in Dartmouth, NS

Post your bargains and where you live!

Can't wait to hear of everyone's deals!!

For your title. Click edit, and then click advanced on the edit screen. It will allow you then to edit your title. ;)

I think a Canadian bargains thread of the week would be great!:thumbsup2

Love this idea

I've been shopping for things to put into Disney surprise bags I'm making ---

Giant Tiger--has Ariel sun block --5.00

Sears ---has Ariel-Pooh & Friends ,Nemo beach towels---5.99 each
Disney character topper bubble bottles 3.49 each
Captain Jack Sparrow-fleece throw --9.99

Disney store --Mickey mouse club tupperware containers (individual size) 2.99 for set of three--great for hiding treats in. Mickey ribbon --1.99 a roll

Dollar store --new shipment of Disney character photo-albums
Bedroom wall hanger hooks--Cars--Nemo--Princess--made of wood and three nobs to hang things on ---thought this would be a nice place to display lanyards when not in use.

Food Basics --Disney bags --50% off

I was also very surprised at the great buys for food items at Giant Tiger..

Hugs

Mel (Mississauga)

taken from frugalshopper.ca

frugalshopper.ca has very helpful Forums.

Another very helpful quick-moving board is redflagdeals.ca. Anything to do with electronics & computers is on there & sells out quickly too because of it! But there's also other info. People aren't as initially friendly as on this board, but you can learn a lot & get lots of deals before venturing among the sharks to post. And there definitely are helpful people on there, just no patience for not posting properly.

Giant Tiger for food items is good. My DS20, who has been very finicky about his clothes since he was FIVE, loves the hoodies there! And, they have the coupons for $off if you buy more than $50, too, this week.

EVERYONE seems to have chocolate milk on sale for 99¢ a litre this week, too.

I'm so happy that we have a budget board, not even worried about what it's called! Thanks for starting this,

Argh - could not find in the Ottawa East store today. I think it must have been limited stock. Guess I'll be waiting for the Disney Store summer clearance :rotfl2: What's that, 8-9 months away...

I second and third the frugal shopper site. Another great one is dealguild.ca
which has a lot of links to stores for online shopping with cashback on your purchases. The forums also post all the great deals going on in stores. They are really friendly when you post too.
