about the park relocating to the Niagara Falls area (or anywhere else for that matter).

Next year they are adding a new roller coaster to the park. "Behemoth" will be the biggest coaster in Canada and will cost $26 million to build.

Not the sort of investment you make if you're thinking about moving to a new location.

You never know. I have a friend who works for Vaughan and heard through them years ago ( before Vaughan Mills etc) that the park was looking to move, or that Paramount wanted to move it. Maybe now with new owners it will stay put.

It doesn't really make sense in my opinion to move it. What would be the reasoning behind it? It seems to do well where it is. It is a nice central location. It draws in from the Toronto community obviously and then also from the surrounding areas to the east and west of Toronto. I am located in Kingston and I make the trip to Wonderland every summer but if it were to be moved to the Niagara region I sure wouldn't be going every year, way too far of a drive.

Yes, but aren't they tearing down something to build this new ride. They can't really ever grow. Are they just going to tear down old rides and build new ones to keep up the excitement level?

i am really disappointed in CWL over the past few years, this year we had our worst experience and will probably not go back for a while. The food bad and wayy over priced, the employees need a lesson on courtesy and kindness and they need FAST PASSES :goodvibes

I guess we are getting spoiled by the "mouse": :mickeyjum

Canada's Wonderland has the largest seasonal attendance of ANY amusement park. I don't know how or why that rumour still continues to go around.

Nothing is being torn down to put up this new world class coaster. It is being built over by Italian Job and will go over some of the water that runs along the park entrance road. Finally, a new management is rewarding guests for putting up with sub par rides!
