I literally haven't been to Canada's restuarant in years. I used to love it, but was getting worried by reading lots of negative reports. We could never get in anyway (we tend to make our restaurant ressies at the last minute, i.e. "What do you want to eat tonight?" "I dunno, call Disney and see where we can get in."), and I began to think that might be a good thing.

Today we joined friends from Chicago for dinner at Canada tonight, and I have to say it was DELICIOUS!! I do think it's rather pricey, but I had the strip steak and cream cheese mashed potatoes and it was mmmm mmmm good. My husband had the pork, and our friends both had the prime rib, and they gave their dishes a big thumbs-up too. We had beer soup for our appetizer, which was as good as I remembered it from long ago, as were the pretzel rolls. For dinner, hubby and I shared the apple/rhubarb crumble with maple granola ice cream and it was delicious, with plenty of rhubarb. I could have eaten a dish of the ice cream by itself.

Service was really good too, but then again it usually is at WDW.

I guess we're going to have to do some advance planning and get to Canada again soon!

Oops, forgot to add...that Canadian pale ale is really, really good too. I am not a big beer drinker, but it got a huge thumbs up from me and one of our friends.
