Hi Everyone.

I would like to consider getting a 2 Bedroom Concierge Level AK room that technically holds 8 to 9 guests, but we really need to sleep more comfortably with 4 people in this setup, no one on the couches, and 2 people that will sleep in separate beds.

However I would like to get an AK value studio room to sleep in with my partner, but spend the daytime in the 2 Bedroom Concierge unit with the rest of the group. And also to get the benefit of Concierge.

So can I have myself and my partner names added also to the 2 bedroom unit, resulting in that Concierge unit listing 6 people and not 4 ? (I would receive two room entry keys each, one for me and my partner).

2 bedroom with 6 people, studio with 2 people.
And 2 of the 6 people in the 2 bedroom are the same 2 people as in the studio.

Can that be done, Has anybody done it?

Thank You,

Phil

Yes, I believe that as long as your name or your partner's name is not the lead person on the 2 bedroom unit, you should be fine.

You'll only have one king and one queen for actual beds in the two bedroom CL at AKV. The studio portion is a lockoff, so one queen and one double sleeper sofa. If that matters to you.

Thanks for your answers.

I didn't know the 2 bedroom Concierge didn't have a dedicated 2 bedroom (2 queen bed) arrangement.

But I am now thinking, if you can put your name on two reservations, as long as the "lead" persons are not the same:

Can one put their names on a cash value resort under free dining, for say 2 adult people, and then 4 adult people do a DVC with points reservation in a 2 bedroom with the lead people on the DVC unit being different people, and add on the other 2 people to the reservation as well (total 6).

The value resort would be kind of a place to just sleep and meet up daily at the DVC resort, and then with the 10 dollar upgrade have free dining for the lucky 2 people.

2 people at a value resort getting free dining.
6 people at a dvc resort under points, 2 of those people are the same as above. Say like at the BCV, and all 6 people get to go to SAB.

---

I suspect someone in the DVC points BCV reservation would say add my name to your value resort, as it holds a maximum of 4, I want the free dining too. I will give you the extra 10 dollars per day for the basic dining upgrade.

To Disney it would look like:

4 people at a value resort getting free dining, with a 10 dollar per person per day dining charge upgrade. 2 people actually sleeping there.

The other 4 people sleeping comfortably at the dedicated 2 bedroom DVC unit, while 2 from the cash value resort visit the DVC unit every day.

4 people get the dining plan kind of almost free, while 2 people sleep in the value resort. 2 other people don't get the dining plan as a result, but that is fine.

4 Disney Tickets are purchased as part of the cash value package for future use and bought by whoever wants or needs them.

The value of 4 adult free dining is kind of paying for the rack price value room cost and part of a rental car. If the park tickets are needed or not, you just use them in the future, but pay for them now.

What do you think? I know I confused you and myself.

did that - kinda of once - have 2 different reservation one at OKW and the other at Pop - my name was the same - but had different names for the others - well someone being helpfully at OKW or POP - could never find out who - decided to change it to HELP me.

they cancelled my Pop (w/o my permission or even telling me) and when I went to Pop to get back in my room - found the door would not open.

then went to the front desk and got a little upset. these cm did NOT tell their managers - so the managers did not know.

lost some of the snacks that had not been used when they issued me a new key for the remaining days.

so if you do this and you definitely can - make sure that the CM's at the value and AKV - know you want these reservations to remain SEPARATE and not to cancel any of them.

Good Luck

both reservations with DVC on points are easier.

Thanks Spiceycat.

I agree, I will stick with two DVC reservations.

Mostly because I will be the one having to go back and forth to the studio.
