Can you wrap presents ..........

I enjoy wrapping the presents & yup, make a mess too Chaos and turmoil are just part of the whole Holiday bustle - tree messes, wrapping messes, baking messes, it's all part & parcel of the holidays. I have cut down on the leftover scrap wrapping paper thanks to another DISmember who got me into using my shredder to make confetti/paper for gift bags. Now any left over pieces of wrapping paper go into my shredder to be used in the bottoms of baskets and gift bags.

What a great idea, I always hate to throw the scraps away. I used to use them to wrap the stocking gifts when my boys were little.

My DH does not like clutter, and I can understand that. I remember the first year we were married and he just lost it over the mess I had doing the tree. I asked him how his other wives did it without making a mess. He has gotten a little better, but he still makes those dumb comments. I just give him the silent treatment.

I am going to make him chocolate chip cookies today. That mess doesn't seem to bother him.

I love wrapping gifts (and don't usually make much of a mess). In fact, I'm wrapping all my boyfriend's gifts this year too since he told everyone that he's not wrapping anything and everyone is getting their gifts in the store bags. I wrap with the help of a toddler and two cats. There's no such thing as not making a mess.

I made a bit of a mess when I wrapped last weekend. I guess you could say it was an organized mess. LOL!

The rule in our house is that I do the wrapping and DH does the assembly. Works for me!
