We are taking our first US/IOA trip along with our WDW trip the last week of June. From what I have been reading you can not take a bag with you on a lot of rides. Can you still wear a small fanny pack on those rides? what if you are wearing a baseball hat, do you have to put those in a locker? I'm trying to save time because it is going to be crowded. I want to just bring the bare minimum. My DH always wears a cap and if he has to put it in a locker maybe I can get him to not wear it the two days we are there.

Thanks for any info.:thumbsup2

A fanny pack you might be able to get away with on most if not all the rides, but a hat would be difficult, most of the coasters go upside down, he will lose his hat on any of those, also would not be able to wear a hat on Forbidden Journey, and speaking from experience, it is not a good idea to wear a hat on rides like Spidey (got hit in the face by someone's hat which flew off their head in this ride yesterday). I wear sunglasses everywhere here, but when I ride the rides like the coasters, spidey, FJ, MIB, etc I put them in a locker. My husband is a fan of those shorts with the cargo pockets that close up tight, he can keep his wallet, keys, and phone in those, leaves his glasses in a locker or with a non rider.

On most attractions you can sit on the hat so it won't fly off...especially on the coasters...so that shouldn't be a big deal. Hats will fly off much easier than sunglasses...at least in my experience. A fanny pack is OK as long as it doesn't get in the way of the restraints.
