Can you walk to Epcot or MGM from Dolphin?

Can you walk to Epcot or MGM from Dolphin? Is there a walkway? How long of a walk? Thanks.

Definitely! There is a walkway to MGM and also to Epcot. As to how long the walk is, it really depends on how fast you walk. We usually start from Beach Club and it takes us about 10 minutes to walk to MGM (fast pace); Epcot is a little closer and we can easily make it in 5 minutes.

Yes you can and it is a very enjoyable walk. Unless you walk like a snail you will take the same amount or even less time than the boats. ENJOY !!!!! :jumping4: :jumping4:

We love staying in the Epcot resort area because we can walk to both the Studios and Epcot. The path to the Studios is around the Boardwalk Villas. With the Boardwalk to your left and the water to your right (the Swan/Dolphin are on your right) just keep walking. You will almost always beat the Friendship boat unless one is boarding at your hotel.
For Epcot just walk straight past the Yacth Club and the Beach Club. You will be at the International Gateway entrance of Epcot. Even if your boat is loading the walk is definitely faster since the boat will stop at the Boardwalk and the Yacht/Beach clubs before going on to Epcot.

We prefer to walk to Epcot across the Boardwalk. It seems faster and there's definitely more to look at. It takes less than 10 minutes from the Dolphin, but it takes us closer to 15 minutes to walk to MGM. We would have a hard time keeping up with SamSam. We often boat to MGM though since the Swan/Dolphin is the last stop on the way to MGM.

We walk all of the time. Granted, we do not have kids in tow, but Dolphin to MGM is about 12 - 15 minutes. Dolphin to Epcot is about 10 minutes.
