Can you walk from Epcot to the Dolphin?

I'm taking a group of high school journalists to a national convention next month. On the day we have planned for Epcot, we have our last Fastpass window ending at 1:10 and need to be back at the Dolphin by 3 for an awards ceremony. Can we just walk there so we don't have to wait for a bus? I think we'll probably be done with our Fastpass well before 1:10, but I still want to make sure we have ample time to get back to the Dolphin.

Your group should leave through the International Gateway in World Showcase.

From the IG exit, it should take about 15 minutes to get to The Dolphin.

Yes. You can also take a boat from the International Gateway.

Is there normally a wait for the boats? Would it likely be quicker to just walk there?

The boat would make 2 stops before getting to the Swan/Dolphin. It would be faster to walk.

It is a nice walk from IG along the water past BC/YC to the Dolphin......enjoy!

Yes, faster to walk. You would stop at BC/YC and BWI first. Docking, unloading, and loading take a lot longer than you might think. The boat is kinda fun, but not if you're in a time crunch.
