I'm a new DVC member and just set up an online account with DVC. The site allows me to book a stay (or so it appears). If my first choice is not available, will I be able to request to be waitlisted? I don't want to get to the point where I've submitted a request, only to learn I can't do the waitlist online.
Also, if you've booked your stay online, and made a room request, did that request get translated onto your reservation (even if you didn't get your wish)? I've done the regular online check-in, while a non-DVC member, an my requests have not been received by WDW. Actually, I wasn't even able to make the requests due to some technical issue. I've had my TA make the requests on our behalf and everything worked out well.
