We are on the eastbound repo in August but will be visiting WDW next week. We are going to Kennedy Space Center one day and wondered if we could visit the DCL terminal without being a passenger?? If so, is there anything worth seeing, gift shop, etc??

Sorry but no, without proper cruise documents they won't let you into the terminal at all.

Passengers only are allowed in the terminal.

There really isn't anything to see inside the terminal. They have a small cafe but no gift shop or anything.

Many restaurants line the channel that the Magic and Wonder sail out of. So, if you just wanted to see the ship you could grab a bite to eat at one of these locations and watch the ship sail out.

Thanks to both of you. We won't waste our time. Any restaurant recommendations??

CeeJay,
You are most welcomed to stop by the shop and I will give you a handful of stuff in Brevard County, a map and also suggestions for hotels, and places to eat at the port - you can always call the shop once you get here at 800-950-4559 or 321-799-4438.

To me, the most impressive thing about Port Canaveral aren't the terminals but rather watching the ships go out. I think it's worth a visit if you're in the area.
