Can you use your room key at Sammy Duvall's?

We're thinking about parasailing in a few weeks. Just wanted to know if this is another one of the many things that you can charge to your room?

Do you suggest to wait until we get there to try & make ressies? I don't want to make a reservation and then not be able to make it.

Also - for anyone who has done this before - how much do you tip or do you tip at all?

I suprised my wife with this a while back. I had made reservations ahead of time - I think you have the standard 24 hour notice clause. Plan it into your day and you shouldn't have to worry about it. Earlier in the day she went it was overcast and yucky out. They said that the boat wouldn't go out unless it cleared up and we'd have a chance to make it up. It got really sunny so it was a perfect ride.

We paid with credit card, but I would imagine you should be able to use your room key since you can rent all kinds of stuff there for other uses.

As far as a tip, I think I tipped like $20 or something like that. I think that may have been above the norm, but DW really really liked it.
