Cinnamon rolls, cresent roll or doughnut type items at the food court at POR?? We figured out our dining and we will have some left over counter service points and we don't have any lunches we will be doing but would like to keep some of these treats in the room for snacks. I know they probably are snacks but they would be much cheaper than lunches for WDW. Will they let us use these? How do they figure this out by $ or by item?

We did at the Poly...they seem to count a lot of things as snacks there not on the snack list...in my experience at the CC's anyway...
NOT in the parks however...

even got some bagels, rolls, donuts, fruits, muffins with our breakfast CS's as our deserts....

sorry forgot to add

it is by credit not by price so each snack item is one snack CREDIT

this is why if you have some CS meals left over you may want to get some breakfasts and get the other stuff as your "desert" and have those later for snacks

counter service credits and snack credits are two different things... you could probably make "snacks" out of some counter service meals if you go for stuff in the grab 'n go (like sandwich) and get the sweets that were mentioned as your dessert...

the only places i know of that you can turn a cs credit into a sweet treat buffet (LOL) are the bakeries in magic kingdom, norway and france (epcot)...

The dining plan no longer allows a desert with breakfast. I will miss that because last year one counter service breakfast fed me and both the kids (along with granola bars from the room and getting myself a refill in my mug) I'd get a waffle and bacon, fruit, milk. The kids ate the bacon fruit and milk. There will probably some cashiers that let you get through with a breakfast desert but it is now specifically stated in the brochure that it is not included.
