Now that a refillable mug is included with the DDP, can you use it anywhere on the property like the parks or just at the resorts? I guess you can still refill soda, coffee, hot chocolate. Anything else?

thanks

Just the resorts. Technically, only the resort at which you got the mug, but with all of them being identical (unless Coronado Springs still has their own), there's no way to enforce that.

How long has it been since they had different mugs for the different resorts?

A while. It was a thing of the past when I was there in 2009, though I seem to recall the discussions at that time indicating that it was a fairly recent change at that point.

They are cracking down on mug use, and beginning to enforce the "only at your resort for the current stay" policy with a new type of RFID machine. Currently the new machines and chipped mugs have been in use at All Star Sports, but it wouldn't surprise me if they install them at every resort in the somewhat near future.

As mentioned, although all dining plans now include a mug, the policy for their use continues to be the same. For use ONLY at your resort and ONLY for the stay for which they were purchased.:thumbsup2
