Can you use refillable resort mugs at multiple resorts?

Hi all,

We are booked into the Grand Floridian, but will be moving to Hilton Head and Beach Club later in our trip. I have read that if you move resorts, you can continue to use them. If we buy refillable resort mugs at our first disney hotel, will we be allowed to continue using them at our following resort stays, and how does this work?

They work at the other Disney resorts, so if you move to the Beach Club and it's within 14 days they'll work. If your vacation is longer than 14 days, you can show your receipt for them to reprogram the chip.

If you have your mug with you while out and visit other resorts, they will work.

That being said, after 14 days I'm not sure what they do about split stays. I don't purchase the mugs (but have gotten them free when we got free dining). We rarely used them, as I make coffee in the room and don't drink soda.

Yes , they will work at all the WDW resorts . When you use the mug , it will say on the screen when the mug expires . You can always extend it with your receipt if needed as long as it’s still within your “length of stay” at Disney .

We have done multiple split stays while at WDW over the years , and have even done split stays from WDW to Disney’s HHI , and Vero beach resorts . Surprisingly the length of stay mugs will even work all the way up at HHI , and over at the coast at VERO !
We have done it a bunch of times already and it works like a charm !

You sure can! Even if you stay at one resort and dine or visit another, you can use your mug. They are all chipped and good for 14 days.

So if we have two nights onsite, then two nights in SC, then five nights in Hilton Head, then 7 nights back onsite again, we would be able to use the resort mugs throughout our stay? It’s 16 days in total - would we just have to show our receipt when they expire on the fourteenth day?
