Can you use ME in one direction only?

I think that we are going to spend the first night of our trip with some friends, and they will get us from the airport. We will need ME from the resort to the airport at the end of our trip. Thanks!

You sure can!! Just schedule it one-way.

Yes you can. Just tell the front desk when you check in that you will need ME when you check out. They can tell you what you need to do from there.

Yes indeed. We did this on our last trip. My daughter and her fiance stayed in Fl and I flew home home alone. Besides, SW does not have return DME, just a bus ride to MCO. Checking bags at MCO is not very hard to do, but the terminal is huge.

I've done that once so far. You can just let them know at checkin that you will want to use DME for your return to the airport. If you are flying on a 'participating' airline, you will be able to check your luggage through to the airport right at the resort, and get your boarding passes. Then you can just head right to security when you get to MCO.
If you are not flying on one of those airlines, just take your bags with you to the bus. The bags will be stowed underneath the bus, and off you go. It's all very easy.
