Can you use MBs without park entrance?

So we received park ticket for my DGD8, linked it to a MB and received that. Can you enter the park with the ticket and then use the MB for FP+? Or do you need to enter the park with MB in order to use it in the park?

I think you can enter the park either way. But to me it's easier to use the MB, since you don't have to pull the ticket out of your pocket.

In both cases the Mickey ball is reading an RFID chip, in the ticket or on the MB.

Really? I didn't get that from the question at all. The OP didn't even mention her DH. You must have some good mind-reading abilities.

Anyway, I have used the FP+ associated to a magic band in situations where neither the band nor the ticket linked to the band/MDE account was used for park entry on that day. The last time I did this was at the beginning of March. So I will say that yes, it can be done but YMMV given that Disney keeps changing up the rules.

This is crazy but there was another very similar question posted (obviously by someone else) and I thought I was answering that one. I was clearly on the wrong thread No wonder you were questioning my crystal ball response
