Can you use Camcorders on board planes???

Does anyone know if you can use camcorders on board planes? We are travelling with our parents (their first trip to WDW) and so we want to get their reactions etc. the whole way through the holiday starting with the excitement of the journey there!!! Have been thinking that you definately couldn't use them on take off and landing but (as you can use lap tops etc) it might be o.k when the plane is up in the air! What do you think?

I don't want to get thrown off the plane!!!

We have always filmed the take off and landing!!
never been told not to yet?
I have insisted this year that we are not filming again on the plane as every year we are sitting over the wing and thats all we seem to have filmed

its technically illegal to film in to the cockpit down the aisle when the door is open though there is no uk statute controling this, its an addition to the warsaw convention, you can do what you want the rest of the time..Each country enforces its own rules regarding on the tarmac or out of the airside window but the rules seem so confusing that even the airport security dont seem to understand them.. Basically you can do what you want but if the minimum wage security guard is on a power trip for the day he may ask you to stop

when you go through US security you will have to take camcorder out of bag for them to x ray seperatley like laptops new rule that came in at end of august this year they took ours out of bag in frount of us and nearly broke all our cameras when they fell out DW whent mad with them as there were no signs up as the rule only came in that day
