Can you use a WDW ticket at Disneyland?

I have a one day ticket from WDW that I got as part of the 4/3 package. I didn't use it as I have a WDW annual pass.

I think I have read that you can use it at Disneyland. Does anyone know if you can use it to upgrade to a DL annual pass? Do they give you the value of a one day DL ticket? If not than I will just save it for another time as I was told it doesn't expire.

I don't know if you can upgrade it, I don't think so because they need to be able to check the value of the ticket to put towards your AP. But yes, you can use it at DL, you take it to the ticket booths and they trade it for you.
