Can you upgrade tickets onsite?

Hi! Heading to Universal for the first time and have no clue! I'm so used to WDW. We are unsure of how many days we are going to go to the Universal parks, so I'm wondering, if we buy a 2-day tickets, can we upgrade it if we decide to go 3 days? Or would we have to buy another 1-day ticket.

Also, what's the cheapest way to buy tickets? Through Universal's website? Undercover Tourist?

Yes you can upgrade at guest services at the parks. Cheapest tickets are through undercovertourist.com

You can upgrade tickets at the park...not at the hotel. UT is usually the cheapest around for theme park tickets.

remember to upgrade that 2 day pass before you leave the park that day.
go to guest services to upgrade to a 3rd day.
you only pay the difference.


if you wait until day 3 and decide to upgrade those 2 day passes, you will be out of luck.

once the park closes on your second day there, they tickets will have expired.

to do a 3rd day then, you would have to buy a single day ticket.....ouch...
