can you upgrade one park ticket to two park?

If I buy a one day one park ticket for one park, but then want to go to the other park can I upgrade at the gate for the extra thirty dollars or not. I am going with my wife and more than likely we will just stay at Islands of Adventure. But, we like US and if we got a wild hair can we just go over and pay the upgrade fee?

Yes, go to guest services and they will be happy to take your money.
