Hello,
We are booked during free dining period , and we get the QS dining plan included, if we want to ,will they let us, for extra$$ of course, still stay with our value resort reservation but upgrade our dining plan?
thanks

I do believe you can upgrade your plan for extra $ yes.

It is always this way, and I haven't heard of people not being able to do that during this FD.

It isn't that big a jump from QSDP to DDP, something like $11 -12 per person/per day for adults. But it is a bigger jump to DxDDP, that is like $38 or more per person/per day.

Thanks, we are booked for the QS but I am thinking about upgrading to DDP plan because it would be nice to have a sit down meal once a day, just didn't know if they allowed you to do it at anytime after you booked.

Yes you can! We are staying at sports during free dining and we upgraded to the regular dining plan no problem. I dont know how much it was but is wasn't very much. Worth it for us.

we are booked at CSR, and a couple of weeks after I booked, I called back and changed my ressie to 4 nights instead of 5, and upgraded to DxDP. There was no problem doing it, and since I changed my # of nights, I only paid about $15.00 extra for the pkg!

We paid under $192 for our family (2A & 2C) to upgrade for 8 nights. :)

*Just remember you MUST do this at least 72 hours before you arrive. You cannot upgrade when you check in.

It costs $10 a night a person to upgrade to regular ddp. I did this last Dec and again for Sept. Just call. Easy peasy.

We did exactly the same thing. 10 days/9 nights staying at value. Upgraded from QSDP to DDP for LESS than the cost of the 4 of us to eat at Cinderella!:thumbsup2

Yes, you can. We upgraded at the time of our reservation, as we are staying at the Pop Century. It was $10 per person, per night to go from QS to TS. So if you are staying 5 nights and have 2 people in your party, it would be an extra $100.

I would warn you that if your trip is soon, you might want to first check and see if reservations are available. We're going in mid-August and all of the parks are booked solid for table reservations at dinner and many of the resort restaurants are also booked up. So make sure there's restaurant availability before you pay for the upgrade.

Thanks I will do that we are going for a week, for an extra $70/person per week, seems worth it, (all though one less snack a day and no refillable mug)

with only 2 meals a day though might still have to pay out of pocket for a few breakfasts,
