Can you upgrade a power pass?

Hi thinking of getting 1 preffered & 3 power passes for our trip,we are going again next year but unsure of dates and they may fall in the July blackout period.If we use them this year would we be able to upgrade the three power passes when we go next year if it does fall during blackout dates? Also any half price tickets at the moment for pass holders ?

I haven't seen anything on ticket specials for passholders. I think you can just pay the difference when you renew next year so you should be OK as far as the Power Passes go. When in doubt, call Guest Services and ask directly.

by the way Metro.. sorry about Sat.. I didn't get to the parks on Sat.. I stayed at the resort and rested my arm

now back on topic... While we were at Universal, my niece's friend came down to go to the parks with us, she got the $99 Fl Res Seasonal that expires the end of Dec, we were wondering if she will be able to renew it as an AP at the $99 renewal AP rate....

Hi thanks for the reply but not sure I worded my question right,dont want to renew, want to try and get two trips from one years pass but dont know whether we can upgrade if necessary : we are in the U.K so it just makes things a bit more difficult with phoning and stuff.

No problem...I didn't make it either...got stuck at the house doing stuff I put off.

You can absolutely upgrade the Power Pass if you get there on a blakcout date. I'd suggest doing that as it is usually cheaper than buying a one day ticket at the gate.

The black outs were lifted on this pass, it is the FL Resident with no black outs and expires on 12/31. Her parents were buying Annuals in Jan, so we were wondering if she would be able to renew this one at an upgraded price.... this was the $99 no black out special till 12/31/09 unlimited use deal...

I'm not sure if the Season Pass (the FL resident passes) can be upgraded because they expire in December. But the Power Passes can be upgraded (these are the ones that have blackout dates).
