Can you upgrade a cruise with cash?

If I use DVC points to "buy" a cruise, can I upgrade to a concierge with cash or is there no way to do concierge except to straight up buy it??

You can upgrade for cash at the port subject to availability. Prior to that, if you book on points you have to book the category you want. If you book thru DVC, one passenger must be paid for fully with points. The remaining passengers can be paid for by either points or cash, but not a mix of both for a single passenger.
