The clue is: Animals in nature must work hard to get food. Their task is made easier by their ___________.
(The letters could spell more than one word.) If we had the textbook, it would help.

is it adaptation?(looks like the previous poster and I posted at the same time- she beat me!)

that was my guess too.

My brother showed me a trick of writing the letters in a circle and sometimes mixing up the vowels and consonants and it helps me to find the words better.

Good luck with your homework!! ;)

Boy, do I feel dumb! You guys are great. I'm going to try that circle thing CC.

Would you believe DS has a test tomorrow & didn't bring anything home but this worksheet. He left school early yesterday & didn't get the homework. I don't know how he will do well.

Yes, it is ADAPTATIONS, I recognize the terminology from my daughter's science class.

I have A LOT of difficulty with scrambled words. I always have. I aced EVERY spelling test I ever had, except the ones with the scrambled words. It always seemed SO unfair. Just ask me to spell it and I can!!!
