I was wondering what are some neat things to do in Celebration. Will probably make a few hour trip to visit on my next vacation. Also what are the directions to get there.. staying at ASMU ?

Buy Disney souveniers at discount prices! lol! That's all I ever notice signs saying when we drive through there!

There are lots of things to do in Celebration, and NONE of the stores carry Disney merchandise (disney does have a liquidation sale 2x per year, held at the school gym) You can take a Segway tour of the town. Have a nice meal, take a horse drawn carriage ride, rent a paddle boat, sit by the lake. If you're coming in November you can watch the snow fall.

From I-4 take exit 62. From "on" property, follow the signs to the Magic Kingdom, when you get to World Drive, take a left (away from the MK) which dead ends in Celebration.

Enjoy!

There is a really cute movie theater there. There is a few nice resturants, a coffee shop, and an ice cream shop. There is also a several little shops, which are fun to check out. I enjoyed just walking around the lake but you can rent paddleboats. It is a cute little town.

If you go near Christmas, they have (or at least used to) have "snow" on certain nights. When I was on the college program, we checked that out and it was really cool. We had ice cream after; it is FL.

wonderful ice cream, delightful bookstore and many boutiquey type shops. Also, a walk on the board walk, out to a neighborhood can be quite lovely.
