Can you take the Magical Express to any Disney resort?

For my arrival day I am staying at POR. I have an 11am appointment for a wedding planning event at the Grand Floridian. Can I take the ME directly to the GF from the airport or will they not allow me to do this because I am not staying there ?

Sorry, they won't let you do this. When you receive your DME vouchers in the mail before your trip, you'll see that they have your name and resort printed on them. You'll be directed to a bus that is going to your resort, and you won't be allowed to board a bus for GF.

When you get off the DME bus at POR, you can go straight to the Bell Services desk and ask them to get you a cab to GF. It's a quick trip by cab.

If, by chance, the DME bus you get on is making multiple stops and two of the stops happen to be GF and POR, then I would assume it's no skin off the driver's nose where you get off. He probably wouldn't even know. But I don't know what the chances are that POR and GF would be sharing on that day.

But PP is correct - you wouldn't be able to board another bus that goes to GF because it will be on your DME ticket.
