Can you take hairspray in your carry on?

I would like to avoid checking any bags for a weekend trip. Can I take hairspray in my carry on onto the plane? I also have spray on haircolor that I would like to bring.

This is pretty embarrasing, but I am filling in the blanks. I have thinning hair on top of my head , so I camoflauge with the info mercial type spray. I bet you thought I paint my hair irredescent green, didn't you, LOL.

This is not regarding hair spray but i need to take my sons nebulizer and im afraid it will get thrown around to much in luggage. Although its not to big it will jsut mean one more thing to carry on and im not even sure they will let me. Anyone ever take one? Was it carry on or checked?

Just another "yep" for the hairspray. I travel for business a lot and carry on a small aerosol can all the time.

On the nebulizer - my dad uses a C-PAP machine and carries it on when he travels, he also takes along a doctor's note explaining what it is just in case there is a question...I would think the same would work just fine for a nebulizer.

Hairspray is fine in a carry on, and so is a nebulizer. You can also check a nebulizer, but I would discourage it only because if you have to have it and your checked bag that contains it is lost you are in trouble. For that reason, medical items should always be carried on and not checked. My DS was a premie, with lots of lung problems, and was nebbed everyday for several years, several times each day. If you are bringing prescription medicine to neb, just make sure to carry a copy of it on your person.
