Is there currently bus transportation to & from HS + Epcot at Art of Animation?

I think they are doing this to take some pressure off the skyliner from pop?

Yes, Epcot and DHS buses are currently running to/from AoA. But not at Pop.

Awesome!
What time are the buses there for a 10am opening?
Are the lines long/ people lining up 2 hours early for the bus?

Read enough reports around the DIS and you’ll see everything from roughly 45-70 mins before park opening, but I would personally expect around 60 mins (this is a general comment for all resorts). I hesitate to speak specifically about what time people are lining up at AoA since I haven’t been there - if you don’t get any responses here I’d ask over on the AoA or Pop thread on the Resorts Board. I’m including Pop there too since some Pop guests have been using the AoA buses (and it’s a pretty active thread). Hope that helps!

I can't speak for what the bus situation looked like at AoA, but this past weekend we took the Skyliner to EPCOT and it ended up taking us an hour and a half to get there. We had to wait in a line about 20 minutes at AoA, while anyone from Pop was able to get right on (they said because Pop didn't have a bus they got preference, so continually loaded from that side and only let AoA on when there was a break). Then, we had to wait in a ridiculous line at CBR, only for the Skyliner to EPCOT to go down after we'd waited about 30 minutes. Finally got out of that line and hopped in the (non-existent) Hollywood Studios line and walked to EPCOT. Next time, we would just take the bus and save all the hassle - even if we had to wait for an hour to get it.

Thank you! I did not even know about those threads!!

Kinda crazy, isn’t it. We found ourselves at the CBR station trying to get to Epcot Thanksgiving week. Line wrapped to infinity and beyond. A manager CM basically begged us to take the DHS line and walk, said waiting for Epcot line would be 25-30 mins. We weren’t in a hurry and were fine with the walk from DHS so did so, but I still found the whole situation rather interesting/comical. 2020 for you.

I love the Skyliner, but there are a few key moments/situations given current operations /protocols where one better build in proper timing expectations!

Aren't the Art of Animation to Epcot and to Hollywood Studios running at about the same frequency as from most other resorts, when you said that AoA "has buses"?

We stayed at AoA Dec. 6-13. I had been worried about buses to the parks due to some bad experiences people were having the week before, but all went well for us. We got to the AoA bus stop 60 to 65 minutes before official park opening each day and never had to wait more than 5 to 10 minutes for a bus. (Note that we took a bus from Pop Century to Epcot because we had family staying at Pop and the Skyliner was temporarily down that day.) Using this schedule, we walked right in to all the parks except for HS, where we had to wait about 15 minutes before they opened the gates. At each park, we got to ride a couple of headliners before lines got long.
