Can you subsitute QS for Table service?

We will have the regular dining plan (1 Quick, 1 snack, 1 table service). We are doing 4 or 5 character meals w/ ADR's set up but I was wondering if we decided to not do any more ADR's if we could subsitute out table service credits for qucik service meals? We will have 8 credits of each for our stay.

My kids much prefer fries, nuggets, hot dogs etc and I am all about quick.

There have been reports that during a free dining promotion that this can occur. However there have also been reports that some won't.

To be honest CS isn't much faster than a sit down meal. Maybe 15min or so, but it isn't that much quicker.
Also many TS places do offer the foods your kids would like.

You can always try, but know it may not happen.

I was wondering the samething. I was thinking of the DxDDP but DH and I said that would be too much food it would be my Dh and I my 21 DD and my 5 year old twins. I was also thinking how about if we can use the table servie for QS meals. either way I would love to know.

Thanks, I'm sure we will give it a try. My 4 kids do not sit well at a restaurant especially if the food is grilled chicken or pasta on the child's menu but give then a P&J sandwich, hot dog or fries and they will be very well behaved (until they are down chowing down of course)

They used to announce this trade available at all CS during the free dining period, plus extras like an extra snack or merchandise. They don't anymore. That means if it's done, it's not done "officially" and you might have better luck at resort CS than you would in the parks. And it will be a one for one trade, no extras.

If you are on the deluxe dining plan, all deluxe credits are interchangeable for either CS or TS.

With the DxDDP, any meal can be counterservice or tableservice. I could not tell by your post, if you were wondering about that, or if your question just pertained to the regular DP.

This is great info, but I am sure OP is talking about Basic Dining since they listed they were getting 1 QS, 1TS and 1 snack a day...
