Hi,
A while back I read here that if I made a new email with new fastpasses I can still use my old ones for extra ones in the park?
Is this still available.
I have to make my ADR's tmrw for Thanksgiving trip and not sure if I should use a different email in case I can use old MB's. If not I will just use my regular one more convenient.
Thanks
Kerri

Yes, for same-day FP+ and only if the MBs are on a different MDE account from the one you will be using.

What about bands for people who traveled on a prior trip, but are not traveling on the current trip? They are on the same MDE account as the participants for this trip.

Do you still have to have days left on your magic bands?

There are never any "days" (tickets) put ONTO a MB.

Just to keep things as clear as possible-

There is no reservation info, or ticket info, or credit card info,

or FP+ info "put onto" a MagicBand.

A MagicBand just contains (and weakly "transmits") a unique serial number that is used to access the information that is stored in your MyDisneyExperience computer file.

So, even if you were to lose a MagicBand, the info stays locked in your file.

Disney can just set up a new band (different serial number)

to access the info in your MDE file.

Disney can also issue ADDITIONAL MB's to a guest and each

additional band can be used for the same purposes as the first band.

So, yes, there can be multiple MB's per person, and each of them can be used by that person.

The MagicBand works like the combination to a locked safe, or a key to a locked door.

The MB, itself, is not the file of info or the container of the info.

The MB just unlocks the file of info, allowing it to be accessed from your MDE account when needed.

Thanks so much.
I will set up a new account with my husband email and link reservation to make my dining reservations tmrw.

This way my old MB's should still work in the park that day right?
Thanks

That should do the deed.
(Unless they close the loophole.) ;)

If you take their MB's with you to the parks, you should be able to make same-day FP+ using the bands.

How many FP+ can each of these "extra" MB's get? Three all at once, or one...at...a...time...?

I'm so confused... we have eight non-expiring park days left, somewhere in Disney space, and I was told our tickets are on our bands. Now I just bought a different ticket package for this fall and miiight be offsite... I shouldn't use those old bands, right? There's a chance my kids might accidentally scan it, since that's what they're used to doing at the gate, and lose a non-expiring day... right?

Now, if we are offsite and don't buy bands (ridiculous), are our tickets our FPs? Or do you just not get FP+ without a band?

Sorry... staying onsite makes everything much easier for me to understand.

Now I am no expert....but

if you have NE tix on a band and do not want to use those tix for park entry, I would write DO NOT USE FOR ENTRY on the bands in sharpie, that way you'll know not to use them at the gate. I'd also keep hold of them until you were in the park, that way the kids have no chance of accidental scanning.

If you buy tickets, but don't stay on site, then your plastic tickets are what you use for FP+, they are all RFID enabled, so they will work at the FP+ tapstyles.

If you want to get same day FP+ with your bands, once inside the park, you can go to any FP+ kiosk and schedule three same day FP+. The FP+ kiosks are not programed to detect ticket media, so it will not impact the NE tickets you have on the bands.

So, If I create a new MDE account linked to a different email address can I move MB'S from 1 MDE account to the new account ?

You can not move the MBs to a new account. You would need to link the new tickets to a new account. Also, those NE tickets can actually be used to book FP+s 30 days in advance. Those FP+s will work even though you don't use that ticket to enter the park. BUT ONLY if the 2 tickets for each person is linked to a different MDE account. One person can only reserve 3 FP+s per day in advance. If those ticket are in the same account, then you can't use both ticket on the same day. I believe this is true even with the idea of taking the bands and making FP+s the day of in the park. If fact, from my understanding. If both the new tickets and the NE tickets are linked in the same account, those new tickets will be in those MBs. Remember, the MBs doesn't have anything "on" it. It is just used to link to your MDE account. So if both tickets are there in the same account, both tickets will be linked to the MBs. If both tickets are in the same account, and you decide to use those MBs, make sure you stop by guest relations to make sure when you enter the park that the day is taken off of the new ticket and not the NE ticket.

I hope that all made sense!
