Can you still request a coffee maker at POR?

I've read that on older threads. Does anyone know if that is still the case?

We just stayed at POFQ and received a coffee maker after we asked.

We stayed at POR the end of June. Requested a coffee maker and it was sent the next day(had to call twice). Be sure to request cups if you need them.
