Can you still have Disney Pins in your carry on's?

Hi, sorry if someone has already asked this and I just did not see this~ but I was wondering if they still let you have Disney Pins in your carry on's or do you have to put them in your checked in bags now? So I know how to pack for our Dec. trip to WDW, I really wanted to take some pins with me to trade and also buy a bunch of pins when I am there. I hope they still let you take them in your carry on, as I would feel safe if I know I have with me on the airplane.

What other things can you not take on the airplane now also( last time I was on a flight was last year in Sept.)? I know about the snowglobes already.

The only recent changes to what's allowed in carry-ons had to do with liquids and gels. There's never been any rule against Disney pins in carry-on bags, or worn on your lanyard or clothing, for that matter.

We haven't had any problems before with security and I hope we don't this time, my son would die if we had to check his pins (he actually has a vest that he wears then on) he is already planning on trading as soon as we get to MK and he won't have time to wait on DME for the luggage. I would also hate some luggage handler to take them.

I would about Die too, if I had to check my pins. I hope they never change the rule on the pins!
