Can you still get non-expiring park tickets?

Are non-expiring park tickets still available? If they are, can you you tell me where to find the current prices. Thanks for any help.

I found the prices through mousesavers.com, search on the term "No Expiration Option". I couldn't find it on the WDW ticket site, but when I called and asked an agent they were able to quote the prices over the phone (but said few people ever request the information anymore). I figured out that if I buy a 10 day park hopper with no-expiration it'll cost about $755 ($75.50 per day) through undercover tourist. It'll take me 3 trips to use them all so I think it's worth spending the $ up front for a daily price that'll cover me the next 6-10 years.

I don't think they like to sell no expiration. My sister had problems getting an actual quote. DWSavers has some decent prices on them also. Hard to cough up the extra change though and I can't use my Disney Dollars at those brokers... Not a bad option if you can plunk it down but I don't know that it really saves that much...

Disney seems to be doing their best to discourage the sale of the NE tickets, first they make it difficult to find or purchase them and second they have hiked the price so high for the NE option it barely seems worthwhile.

We have some that were purchased a year or two ago but will probably not purchase them again in the future.

You have to call in order to get them.

It's not that they don't want to sell them (if that was the case they would just quit selling them.) The problem was that many people thought that they had to buy non expiring tickets if they weren't going to use them right away, and then later found out that that wasn't the case and wanted their money back.

We got ours 4 years ago right onsite. I didn't know they didn't sell anymore. We still have 4 days left on a 10 day ticket. We go to Disney at least once a year but we only go to parks one time. They were pricey but we locked into that past price for this long so it makes sense to us given how we use them. I would probably do it again

I don't think they LIKE to sell them. Again, my sis couldn't get them to quote it over the phone hardly. But they don't stop selling them because they like to take everyone's money (as a CM put it quite funny) and that means sell if people want it?

In the past I have upgraded my current ticket (with at least one day used) to non-expiration at our resort. I've done this as recently as last November. The CM didn't blink an eye, just changed the tickets and charged the difference to us.

is it cost effective to go ahead and buy these? We are toying the idea of the 10 Day NE hopper and Water park more. if we can squeeze 3 years of park entrances out of this ticket is it worth it? or cheaper to pay as we go? :confused3

I think it's only worth it if you can get at least three trips out of it. We are planning to break them down like this -

3 Theme Park days, 2 Water Park days (late spring trip)
2 Theme Park days, MNSSHP, 2 Water Park days (early fall trip)
2 Theme Park days, 3 Water Park days (summer trip)
3 Theme Park days, MVMCP, 1 Water Park day if it is warm enough (late fall/early Dec trip)

I like to travel there at different times of the year to see the different parties/events so it works for us.

Then we have two bonus water park days for another time.

No Expiration tickets caused lots of confusion with guests who didn't understand how they worked. So Disney stopped advertising them. You can still get them if you ask for them specifically.

that is what we were thinking about breaking them over the next 3/4 trips. We always go in April and our trips dates dont work out to get AP's so we thought we was a good way to lock in prices... but not sure? we thought:

3 park days hopping/ 1 water park/ 1 mini golf
3 park days hopping/ 1 water park/1 disney quest
2 park days hopping/2 water parks/ 1 mini golf
2 park days hopping/ 2 water park/1 mini golf

if we do I am hoping to buy before the tickets go up again :( wonder when that will be??

That looks good! I would pay OOP for mini golf and save those three days for either a water park or Disney Quest. If you ever do a Universal or Sea World trip you could combine it with those leftover waterpark days also.

If you can get 4 trips out of it the price is worth it. I asked about the next expected price hike here last week and some think it is coming soon in June. :scared:

so the tickets would all continue to be taken off the same cards? And if we had left over water park days we could use them on trips down the road when we run out of park days... we are not so much into Universal at all, and probably wont be doing sea world either, but thanks for the tips! wondering if we should buy this last week of May!!!!

I purchased non expiration a few years ago, when Disney had the get into parks free on your bday promotion. Used the credit to make up the difference.

How do you link these tickets to Magic Bands & Fast Pass?

Are you asking how to add the old tickets you already have? It may depend just how old. Go to the MDX page, and there is a page on registering your tickets. If it falls in any of the categories, you can get it done. Otherwise you may need to call or wait until you are there.

Yes, all of the credits are available till you use them all, including the water park and more options. :)

but if they are not linked to a reservation then you cant book FP ahead of time?

Yes you can. Anyone with tickets registered in their profile can book FP+ up to 30 days out from the current date. Those with reservations can book 60 days from check in.
