Can you still call for pin?

4 years ago I read here to call a check if there were any pin codes associated with your name. Icalled and got a pin that was associated with my husband's name. However, I thought I remembered reading on the board in the last year or two that the phone CMs will not do that anymore; anyone know? We are making an unexpected trip in Nov and I know I have recieved cards this year, but wasn't looking that hard, because I was not planning a trip.

I did it in April or so, and had one. CM didn't give me a problem at all.

If you get a CM named Topanga - don't ask

I think it just depends on what CM you get and what kind of mood they are in. I had a lady named Topanga who was clearly lacking the Disney spirit. She was rude and of no help to me at all. However I had another CM named Bentley who was so awesome and such a chatter that phone call cost me over $6.00

I just called and asked ( I don't know why that makes me feel lack I'm imposing, since I give them thousands of dollars everytime I go...it is really silly) Anyway CM super nice looked it up and alas neither my husband or I have a code....so sad now

Thgat is how I got my PIN code. I didn't have one and called back in late April early May. The CM asked for my address and said I had the 20/30/40. I told him something about I realized all my Disney emails were going to my spam...
About 2 hours after the call I had the White Rabbit email.
